Up and Over Garage Doors

The Up and Over garage door is the simplest and most common type of up and over garage door mechanism, its name derived from the fully opened garage door panel protruding about a third forward of the sub frame to form a canopy.

It gives the maximum drive-through width when open and is the easiest to install. The door is balanced and assisted by torsion springs positioned above the door panel on the head of the fixing frame. The canopy door mechanism is generally only available up to 8 feet (2438mm) wide.

It is not generally used if the garage door is to be electric motor automated although with the use of a good quality 'bow arm converter' and a reasonably powerful operator this type of door can be automated successfully.

Roller Garage Door

The Seceuroglide garage door is constructed from individual double skinned foam filled aluminium slats all sliding in extruded aluminium guides with absolute minimum noise and virtually no maintenance required.

The high performance weatherstripping in the side guides ensures a good level of sealing and when closed the garage door has excellent acoustic and thermal properties. Maintenance, oiling or greasing is not required on the guides. A rubber weather seal on the bottom slat gives excellent weather protection as well as housing the latest in safety edge sensors for complete peace of mind.

Sectional Garage Doors

Our sectional garage doors have many benefits over traditional up and over doors. Where limited drive space is a problem, sectional garage doors are the perfect choice as they open and shut vertically, allowing cars to park within inches of the door without impairing functionality.

Sectional doors do not take up as much room when opened. This leaves more height in the garage, making them a popular choice for 4x4s and other tall cars. All of our sectional garage doors are covered with a comprehensive ten year warranty.
